partner profiles Transcending three generations, Lily Jack continues to be the innovative force in fashion furniture design and manufacturing. Lily Jack’s seating and casegoods are known for their beauty, style, and classic (yet modern) lines. Developing a minimum of two furniture lines per year, the newest ONYX collection debuted at the 2011 Hospitality Design Exposition & Conference (HD Expo) in Las Vegas, where Lily Jack showcased 26 new items. The Eye-Catcher showcased at HD Boutique in Miami, was the company’s modern take on a French canopy chair, encased in Swarovski Crystal nailheads. “We are excited to be creating our next line, an organic hark back to the 1950s, which will debut at BDNY this November,” says Heather Gallagher, Lily Jack’s design director. Lily Jack is extremely proud of its project management team, having a deep knowledge of design, manufacturing, and customer service. It’s a team of eight dedicated professionals, which far exceeds the industry standard. Staying connected to the design community is a constant goal for Lily Jack. “NEWH is an excellent resource to allow for emerging growth within the hospitality market along with our industry partners. We are proud to support NEWH in their continued commitment to the advancement of young professionals,” says Gallagher. Set to be introduced in November is the Fleuree collection, manufactured on J+J/Templeton ’s state-ofthe-art 3C patterned tufting technology with ChromaFlex™ solution dyed nylon. “3C is the latest in tufting technology of custom textured carpet that rivals axminster and CYP with more design capability and clarity, more colors, more texture capability, and faster delivery than traditional tufted or woven patterned carpet,” says Steve Hillis, vice president, hospitality business, adding that several new modular carpet and broadloom products designed for both public spaces and guestrooms are set to launch in January 2012. Company-wise, J&J/Templeton is in the process of implementing its new and comprehensive branding initiatives that will reflect “our company and brand’s approach to deliver innovative, creative, and high performing products that will capitalize on the well-established strengths of J+J Industires in areas of quality, service, and sustainability,” Hillis says, adding that the company was just awarded 100,000 yeards of custom carpet for the Borgata Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City. “This year has been about ‘re-tooling’ the Templeton Hospitality business since the acquisition in December. The Templeton resources, equipment, and people have been moved to our J&J Industries campus in Dalton, which will give us the best control of quality and service possible. “We think it is very important to support NEWH and are proud to be a corporate sponsor. We have had great success at the NEWH tradeshows and have found the NEWH golf outings to be very beneficial in networking with key hospitality customers. We hope to be an integral part of the future growth and success of NEWH by helping to expand with new chapters across the U.S.,” says Hillis.
