Digital Upgrade
NEWH, Inc. has a new home, online that is, thanks
to its newly revamped website, www.newh.org.
Courtesy of Lion Associates of San Francisco, the
new site is visually more attractive and easier to
use and navigate. Says NEWH’s executive director
Shelia Lohmiller: “NEWH always wants to stay on
the forefront of providing online services for our
membership and in order to do that, we needed a
site that was built not from a template, but custom
coding that meets NEWH’s needs.”
Members can now update their own information
and see those updates immediately. The Resource
and Sustainable Directories have merged into one,
and are now capable of showcasing product and
installation shots, videos, and other media, as a
“better way to help our corporate partners market
themselves,” says Lohmiller. And in an attempt to
go paperless, forms and applications are fillable
directly on the site. Next up: a hospitality forum
where users can get answers from the experts.
“As you visit the new site, if you have ideas
of things that we could include on the site that
would be helpful to the industry, let us know,”
says Lohmiller. ❙❘❚
