Jen Renzi is a Brooklyn-based
writer who specializes in design.
Previously a senior editor at House &
Garden, she is a columnist for The
Wall Street Journal's "Off Duty"
section and a contributing editor
for Interior Design magazine.
She has written for a wide range
of publications including House
Beautiful, Architectural Digest,
CondeNast Traveler, WSJ. Magazine,
1stDibs.com's Introspective, and The
New York Times Magazine. She is
co-producing The Furniture Bible
with master refi nisher Christophe
Pourny, to be published by Artisan
this fall, and writing a residential
décor guide
for the New York School of Interior
Design (Clarkson Potter, 2015).

Kimberly Richter is the Associate
Managing Editor of Perspective.
She is currently a Project Manager/
Lifestyle Brand Designer at Gensler
NYC, where she specializes in
designing experiences and
developing strategies that tell
a client's story. Here at Perspective,
we like to refer to her as a "hybrid
dynamo"-prior to earning her
master's in architecture w/emphasis
in interior architecture from
The School of the Art Institute of
Chicago,she worked at Perkins+Will,
HBO and fi lm-production company
Ridley Scott Associates.

BEN BLISS
Ben Bliss is a Portland-based writer,
and Perspective's editorial assistant.
He's worked for Nike, Groupon, and
Northwest Palate Magazine. His
work has been published in literary
magazines and he was a fi nalist for
the Glimmer Train New Writers
award. He and his wife welcomed a
new baby, three days before this
issue went to press.

BUD RODECKER
This issue's graphics-from the
custom typefaces to the high-concept
page layouts-were spearheaded
by Bud Rodecker of the Chicago-
based design collaborative Thirst.
Bud Rodecker is a principal designer
at Thirst and an adjunct professor at
DePaul University. His work explores
the space between logical
constraints and formal play, and
balances form with meaning. He is
interested in systems and processes
with the potential to create design.
