Fully integrated with the current Wynn Las Vegas resort, Encore adds an additional 60,000 square feet of flexible meeting space—including private board rooms and elegant ballrooms— to Wynn Las Vegas’ 200,000 square feet of contiguous event space. Encore features 2,034 guest suites ranging from 725 square feet to 5,800-squarefoot VIP Suites. Wynn Las Vegas is home to 2,716 guest rooms and suites. IT’S NO ILLUSION: THE MIRAGE CELEBRATES DRAMATIC REDESIGN The Mirage is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a $110 million redesign that encompasses everything from stunning room remodels to a restaurant created by renowned Chef Laurent Tourondel and a dramatic enhancement of the Volcano—a Las Vegas icon since the hotel’s opening. These changes accompany recent additions of a sleek salon by celebrity colorist Kim Vo, dynamic new nightclubs, acclaimed restaurants, and the Cirque du Soleil production LOVE, celebrating the musical legacy of The Beatles. A standout is the Caribbean-inspired RHUMBAR. The drink spot—which features an outdoor patio, a stylized daiquiri bar, and an impressive cigar selection—can accommodate 100 guests. And Terry Fator brings his live show to The Mirage in Terry Fator & His Cast of Thousands, featuring new impressions, celebrity voices, and puppets, backed by a live band. CAESARS PALACE PREMIERS EXPANDED MEETING SPACE Las Vegas Meetings by Harrah’s Entertainment debuted the 110,000-squarefoot expansion of the meeting facilities at Caesars Palace in July 2009. The expansion brings the resort’s total meeting space to more than 300,000 square feet. The addition comprises a 263,000-square-foot (wallto-wall) convention center that connects seamlessly to the existing meeting space in the Palace Tower. The facility is constructed on two levels and includes two 52,000square-foot ballrooms as well as several meeting and board rooms, grand promenades, and added banquet kitchens and support facilities.
