2009 Corporate Profile Special Advertising Section Jelly Belly Candy Company COMPANY HISTORY Five generations of the candy-making family have been cooking up some of the best-loved candies in America since 1869. Today, the descendants of a German immigrant operate the confectionery company that is known for a presidential favorite, Jelly Belly® jelly beans, as well as more than 100 other chocolate and non-chocolate candies made under the Jelly Belly brand. The first candy-makers put their name on the confectionery map with their best-selling Candy Corn introduced around 1898. Even after the media attention died down, the company Contact: John Pola, Vice President of Sales Address: One Jelly Belly Lane, Fairfield, CA 94533 Phone/Fax: 800-323-9380/ 707-428-0819 Web site: www.jellybelly.com posted double-digit growth for the next two decades. Jelly Belly jelly beans, a seeming fad, have become a classic American candy. Today, the Jelly Belly Candy Company — headquartered in Fairfield, Calif. — enjoys a reputation for its premium-quality candy.
