Technical Professionals Conference – TPC
T
his conference is designed with our technical professionals in mind. However, there will be many TPC activities that support the Annual Convention theme of “Engineering the Gateway to Success.” There will be countless opportunities to network, attend professional development activities, as well as take care of the operating business of NSBE. In addition, there will be more opportunities to interact with our NSBE Jr. and collegiate members during joint programs. TPC Highlights • TPC Alumni Kickoff Luncheon – An opening to the TPC to highlight conference content and hear from the National Alumni Executive Board • Professional workshops and Corporate Roundtables on topics such as Technical Leadership, Lean Engineering, and Networking; and an Executive Panel to discuss Lessons in Leadership • Certification Courses such as LEED, PE/FE Prep, PMP and others • Joint Alumni Regional Meeting and Luncheon – This regional meeting allows the regions to network while recognizing members of their regions for outstanding contributions to NSBE • 1st Annual Corporate Invitational • Power Networking Mixer • Lifetime Members Social – An opportunity for lifetime members of NSBE to convene and be recognized • Launch of the first National Executive Mentoring Program, which will provide the opportunity to receive on-site mentoring from executives of various companies • AE Community Impact Day – A community outreach effort designed to leave a lasting impression on the St. Louis Metropolitan Area • Special Interest Group activities, including but not limited to technical workshops, panel discussions and business meetings • Entrepreneurship panels and workshops
