goals: 1. Educate NSBE's membership about policy and politics and how our members can be of influence; 2. Expand NSBE's relationships with organizations that have similar policy interests; 3. Form active Policy Project Teams; and 4. Increase visibility and awareness of the NSBE Public Policy Special Interest Group. To accomplish our 2014-2015 goals, we are seeking the participation of both professional and collegiate members. There are several ways for NSBE members to become involved in PolySIG. Those include: 1. Serving on the PolySIG leadership team; 2. Joining an active Policy Project Team or forming one (either chapter-based or issue-based); 3. Attending the Annual Symposia and/or workshops held at NSBE annual conferences; 4. Developing a policy-related article or white paper for NSBE or a SIG publication; and 5. Participating in congressional visits with PolySIG. If you are interested in supporting the SIG's mission and goals in any the above capacities, please contact us at policydirector@nsbe.org, or find us on Facebook. We are gearing up to educate our membership about current public policy issues affecting blacks in academia, industry and government. www.nsbe.org 69http://www.nsbe.org
