We need to remember that we
have a powerful collective influence. It's not about the Show or
a magazine. It's about the people
who make up the industry. With
that in mind, we want to let you
know that participation will be key
to The Weekly. We want to hear
from you. We want to include your
voices. We need to come together
in this difficult time and hold onto
what means the most to us. We
look forward to this new venture
and continuing to build a strong,
committed community-and we
look forward to you joining us.

Bold Thinking
WE KNEW IT WAS INEVITABLE

as the COVID-19 pandemic spread
across the globe, but the entire
outdoor industry felt broken by
the announcement that Outdoor
Retailer Summer Market would be
canceled this year. It's certainly an
economic blow-to everyone from
big brands to aspiring entrepreneurs-but the real sting is that
this industry, which, when it comes
down to it, is more of a family, is
missing the chance to gather, to
exchange ideas, to form partnerships, to hug. That's why the Show
really matters.
I am excited that the staff of
The Daily-the official publication
of Outdoor Retailer that covers the
day-to-day buzz at the Show-will
continue to keep you updated
during this crisis in the digital
magazine you are now reading,
