Follow the Thunder of
Engines to the Glen
From Long Island’s Islip Speedway to
Can-Am Speedway in Orleans, motors
are revving for NASCAR, a phenomenon
that owes much of its popularity to
Watkins Glen International. This year
the excitement is electric as NASCAR’s
Sprint Cup Series returns to The Glen.
On August 10, it’s the NASCAR Nationwide Series for the Zippo 200. And on
Sunday, August 11, the famed NASCAR
Sprint Cup Series caps a thrilling weekend of racing at The Glen with 90 laps of
twists and turns on a winding Grand Prix
road course that has challenged top drivers like Tony Stewart and Jeff Gordon.
