An interpretive nature trail is located along the northern boundary of the campground and there are numerous hiking opportunities nearby. Seaplane rides are available only a mile away in the nearby village of Long Lake which is a quintessential Central Adirondack town, and has been a hub of activity since the mid-nineteenth century. Swimming, hiking, fishing and picnicking are some of the activities campers can enjoy while at this facility.
