Who We Are
Visit Orlando is the official tourism association for Orlando,
the most visited destination in the United States. We are a
501(c)(6), not-for-profit trade association that represents
1,200 member organizations making up Central Florida's
tourism community.
Together with our members, we represent all segments of
the area's leading industry - one that is responsible for a
$64 billion annual economic impact. We also are contracted
by Orange County to brand, market and sell the Orlando
destination globally.
Visit Orlando has worldwide representation to ensure our
destination successfully competes with other U.S. cities for
visitors from these important international markets:

OUR MISSION
To brand, market and sell the area globally as a premier leisure,
convention and business destination for positive economic
benefit to the community.

OUR ROLE
Through our destination-wide marketing, sales and
communication efforts, Visit Orlando engages consumers
and influences them to choose Orlando for their next vacation
or convention. We market the destination through integrated
brand advertising, promotions, public relations, social media
and extensive online consumer initiatives, and direct-toconsumer programs.
As the official tourism association for Orlando, we also serve
as the representative for the area's travel industry, providing
research, data, education and perspective on the tourism and
convention industries and their effect on our economy.
As a membership organization, Visit Orlando provides our
members with opportunities for business connections, lead
generation and cooperative marketing and sales programs
to reach the consumer, meeting planner, media and travel
professionals.
