The former presents 10 to 12 onsite exhibits each year, while the latter has a
permanent collection of paintings by acclaimed, self-taught artist Earl
Cunningham. For those in the area, CityArts Factory and the Grand Bohemian
Gallery are in downtown Orlando.
At Winter Park's Rollins College, the Cornell Fine Arts Museum houses more
than 5,500 works of art ranging from the ancient to modern periods, and
admission is always free. Also in Winter Park, you'll find the Albin Polasek
Museum & Sculpture Gardens, dedicated to its namesake artist, and The Charles
Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art, which has the world's largest single
collection of Louis Comfort Tiffany's acclaimed art glass and other creations.
HISTORIC ARCHITECTURE
The Capen-Showalter House, which dates to 1885 and is one of Orlando's oldest
buildings, still exists in part at the aforementioned Albin Polasek Museum.
A Smithsonian affiliate, the Orange County Regional History Center and
Heritage Square Park in downtown Orlando is a great place to discover the area's
history and culture. Built in 1927, the center itself is a historic landmark.

No matter your taste in music, Orlando has a venue that caters to you. You can
catch a show at the Amway Center, Universal CityWalk's Hard Rock Live® or House
of Blues at Disney Springs, plus many other locations.
FANTASTIC FESTIVALS
If you'll be visiting early in the year, take in the Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival
and Mount Dora Arts Festival. Both are among the most acclaimed, multidisciplinary, juried art shows in the United States.
The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art
These cities host additional art festivals in the fall, which is when Orlando's most
innovative celebration of the arts, IMMERSE, takes place. Inspired by Art Basel and
SXSW, the interactive annual event attracts more than 1,000 visual artists and
performers to the streets of downtown Orlando.
In the spring, catch the Orlando International Fringe Festival - the oldest and
largest event of its kind in America. Like other fringe festivals, which originated in
Scotland in the 1940s, Orlando's edition presents a wide variety of performing
artists every year.
