mural at the Tincup Mountain Whiskey booth, where donations will be
collected for POW. There will also be
an opportunity to call your senator to
vote on important issues regarding
climate change in your state. Several

POW ambassadors will be on hand
throughout the Show. In addition,
there will be an opportunity to buy
Uhl's art via online bidding, also to
benefit POW.

Designing for a Disability You

Designing for people who are blind or
visually-impaired is more difficult than
it sounds. There aren't any shortcuts
to understanding a disability and the
people whose lives are affected by
it. It's noble to want to design for a
specific demographic but making assumptions can sometimes be insulting.
We hear the term human-centered
design often. To truly use it is to take
time to ask hundreds of questions to
the people who know the answers,
aka, the end-users, then be willing to
experiment with designs and ask even
better questions.
Wild in Wellness

Nature is healing, there is no shortage
of data to prove that. So how can we
make it more accessible to those who
need it most? We'll hear from speakers whose lives and communities have
been significantly improved by their
time spent outdoors.

Now Will Pay Off Later

Are you concerned about the future
of outdoor participation? Come to the
Outdoor Industry Association Industry lunch to hear from the Outdoor
Foundation and SIA about current
participation research and data, the

challenges and opportunities organizations like Environmental Learning
for Kids, the Share Winter Foundation
(SWF) and local Colorado SWF grantee, SOS Outreach, face in getting
more kids and families outside-and
what your company can do to support
the industry's future. The Outdoor
Foundation, the philanthropic arm
of OIA, will also describe its new approach for investing in local nonprofits to increase participation through
Thrive Outside Communities. Lunches
are first-come, first-served.
