Enid Spotser PROV I S I O N I N G AG EN T, C H I C AGO + Star of the Month Before you fueled up with those tasty peanuts or pretzels and your favorite beverage, your onboard refreshments were handled with TLC on the ground. Enid Spotser, a Provisioning Agent at Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW), is one of the many Employees who help ensure that Southwest Airlines' planes are well stocked with those items and more before takeoff. "What I like most about being a Provisioning Agent is being the carrier of the 'goodies,'" Enid says. "I just really enjoy contributing to making an amazing day for our Customers!" A loyal Southwest flyer from an early age, Enid was impressed by our friendly Employees, and in 2003 she officially joined Southwest's Chicago Team. It's clear that her early hunches were right: Enid celebrated her first decade of service this past year, and her optimism, dedication, and compassion have been a perfect fit at the Company. "Enid arrives to work every day with a smile and a positive attitude," says Chicago Provisioning Manager Corey Opoka. "She always delivers excellent service, displays her Southwest Spirit, and provides assistance to her Coworkers whenever it's needed." Enid's Servant's Heart beats just as strongly outside of work. Since 1985, she has spent one Saturday a month delivering food and clothes to those in need. She also stays involved in her community through volunteer efforts organized by her church and a local Christian radio station. "I try to live to give a helping hand and make a positive, memorable difference in someone's life," Enid says. "If I can help one person daily, I'm happy." Whether she's at work or volunteering, Enid's kindhearted personality and upbeat attitude never waver. "Regardless of how the day is going, I have the power to make my day incredible and share the experience with my Coworkers," she says.
