This year, more than 1,800 American
Airlines employees from across our network
volunteered their time to causes that make a difference. Working together, our teams contributed more
than 92,000 volunteer hours last year alone - that's
more than ten-and-a-half years of service to communities and causes around the globe.
As we move forward, we're committed to giving
back to our local neighborhoods, and we'll continue to carry on our long legacy of service to our
communities.
Here are just some of our largest efforts this year:
In support of the Airpower Foundation, we hosted
a large event to honor our nation's military service
members, veterans, and their families. The event
paid special tribute to those who served in Korea
and those serving in the United States Navy.

This month, we'll help
bring together children of
fallen military heroes for a
week of making memories
