Home to honky-tonks and smoky bars where some of country music’s greatest got their start and where thousands have sung and strummed in hopes of a bigger and better gig, Nashville’s Broadway Avenue has stepped up its game. Cheap beer, sawdust floors, and greasy burgers have some new neighbors; upscale venues now call the star-studded street home. The iconic ★ Broadway has much to offer by way of old and new, and taking a turn right or left will yield some culinary surprises — proving that Nashville is a great place not only for music, but also for food.
