GROUP SALES
BUILDING ON OUR SUCCESS
This past year Group Sales provided over 500 leads - a 27%
increase - that resulted in over $9 million in lodging revenue to
our member properties.
This year we're building on our momentum with the addition of a
new sales manager to our team. This will allow us to attend more
tradeshows and host more meeting planners unfamiliar with Park
City. Through our FAM trips and site visit promotions, hosting meeting

planners in our destination proves to be the best tool for continuing to
provide qualified leads to our member properties.
Support for these direct sales efforts will come from digital, email and
social media campaigns that will encourage meeting planners unfamiliar
with our destination to visit. These marketing efforts will coincide with
the "Yes. All That." messaging, while also promoting Park City's yearround activities, dining options, airport access, variety of meeting spaces
and our experience in hosting.
New this year will be a focus FAM trip, which is a combination of a
traditional Group Sales FAM and a pre-and-post focus group study with
meeting planners making their first trip to Park City. The data from this
study will allow us to better target the direct sales efforts and refine our
marketing plans.
Lastly, because we're always looking for ways to make a positive
impact where people meet, Group Sales has teamed up with
GivingGood.com to provide volunteer opportunities for those hosting
meetings in Park City.
