WINTER | 2015
FROM THE
EDITOR
I find myself writing this letter and wondering where the year
went. It seems like only yesterday we were celebrating our
largest graduating class, announcing our plans for a new
campus and preparing to launch four new master's degree
programs. But here we are, looking back at our 20142015 fiscal year and I am truly humbled by what we have
accomplished.
One of my favorite quotes by Jim Rohn sums up PA College
perfectly: "Success is nothing more than a few simple
disciplines, practiced every day." We're fortunate to have staff
and faculty who are committed to our mission of providing
excellent health care education and incorporating acts of
learner-centeredness on a daily basis. As a result, the College
is growing by leaps and bounds, now boasting more than
1,400 students, a variety of degree offerings, faculty who are
doing great things in their field, and alumni who are making a
difference in the health care community.
New for this year, we are incorporating our Annual Report into
a special issue of inPractice. Our hope is that you will join
us in looking back at what we've accomplished and share in
our excitement. As always, I welcome your feedback and look
forward to telling the stories of our students, faculty and staff,
and alumni in issues to come!
Warm Regards,
Stephanie Ellis

PA College prides itself on offering excellent health care education,
but we can't do it alone. Thanks to generous donors, we have a lot
to be thankful for - one of which is a significant increase in our
endowment funds.
PA College has the
Best Employees*

*Ok, so we might be a little biased, but we believe we have the
best employees. In fact, PA College was recognized as a "Great
College To Work For" again this year! As a result of the high
caliber faculty and staff PA College employs, we are able to deliver
top quality education every day.
