Keith and Barbara Kuhlengel believe in the
importance of giving back, and in 2016, they
generously established the Kuhlengel Family
Scholarship fund at PA College. Scholarship
support helped the Kuhlengels begin their
married life nearly debt-free, and Barbara is
especially committed to helping students at
PA College minimize their own debt load
upon graduation. Keith has served on the
PA College Board of Trustees since 2011 and
finds it particularly meaningful that more
than half of the College's students are, like
he and Barbara, the first in their families to
go to college. He is also gratified to help those
"career changer" students who find in health
care both a new and rewarding vocation,
as well as the means to better support
themselves and their families. 
The Kuhlengels also hope that the support
of their scholarship fund can help students
realize that higher education is attainable and
life-changing, and that it will inspire them to
become lifelong learners. n
