It's hard to believe that we have been living with
COVID-19 now for a year. What began as a sprint
- as our instructors, staff, students and alumni
mobilized practically overnight to meet the acute
challenges raised by the global pandemic - has
now settled into a grinding marathon. I remain
in awe of the resilience, fortitude and creativity
shown by everyone in our community as we push
on to keep education flourishing, with innovative
technology-driven solutions (see p. 5), the rollout
of a strategically designed core curriculum (p. 6)
and timely coursework focused on social justice and health disparities (p. 7). Of
course, none of this would be possible without the financial support of our alumni
and friends, whose generous funding for student scholarships (p. 4, p. 8-9) makes it
possible for so many to attend PA College - and to make a difference in our world.
