HALL OF HISTORY Students holding lanterns before entering their pinning ceremony. Commencement Through the Years Throughout PA College's long history, many things have changed and many have stayed the same. One of the most consistent traditions has been taking a moment at the end of students' programs to acknowledge how far they have come. Whether you graduated in 1921 or 2021, the completion of a diploma, certificate, or degree offers a time for the community to gather around to celebrate each student's educational journey. While you will no longer see white skirts and caps in commencement photos, the smiles and feelings of achievement are the same as they have always been. Do you have memories you would like to share for future Hall of History articles?
