CONNECTING ALUMNI OF COLOR
The Alumni Office is excited to partner with Patients R
Waiting to offer alumni of color opportunities to connect
with other minority health care professionals from around
the country. Patients R Waiting is a non-profit organization
dedicated to eliminating health disparities by increasing
diversity in medicine. There are multiple virtual events every
month for those who wish to participate.
On the last Wednesday of every month, the Health Equity
Book Club meets via Zoom. Visit patientsrwaiting.com to see
what books will be covered each month.

On the first Sunday of every month, alumni are invited to
participate in " Sunday Dinner, " the Patients R Waiting
community check-in, where minority health care professionals
from around the country are able to share resources and
uplift each other.

Reunion
Plans
Unfortunately, PA College was unable to host
in-person reunions in 2020 due to the COVID-19
pandemic. However, the Alumni Engagement Office is
optimistic and looking forward to hosting reunions again
in 2021, and is particularly excited to celebrate the 60th
Reunion of the Class of 1961, the 50th Reunion of the
Class of 1971, the 40th Reunion of the Class of 1981 and
the 30th Reunion of the Class of 1991. Alumni should
on the lookout for more information in the mail or by
email. Have an idea for your upcoming reunion or want
to update your contact information to ensure you will

Class of 1960 Reunion

After the Lancaster General Hospital School of Nursing Class
of 1960 had to make the choice to postpone its 60th reunion in
October 2020 due to COVID-19, planners decided to transition
the event to Zoom. Twelve members of the Class of 1960
across four states were able to sign on as the first PA College
class to participate in a virtual reunion. They celebrated by
playing Two Truths and a Lie and updating each other on where
life had taken them over the last 60 years. n
