Wichita Gets Rid of the Clapp

unicipal closings headline the list this month. Little Rock AR closed two courses, War Memorial and
Hindman in a budget cutting move. A public fight to
make War Memorial a historical site proved fruitless.
In the ultimate portrayal of "Goings and Comings", Henderson KY closed Henderson Municipal, but then turned around
and reopened The Bridges on the other side of town. The big difference? Henderson Muni had an $18 greens fee with cart. The
Bridges will be $28. Tee it up!
And finally, for financial health reasons and not personal,
Wichita KS closes L.W. Clapp GC. Just not enough penicillin
to heal what ailed it.
