In the above, we track the monthly and quarterly timeseries view of weather impact (measured by Golf Playable Hours or GPH) so
our readers can see how the year is playing out at the national level. Again, if you want the 45 regional, the 61 markets or individual

The above outlines our 3rd consecutive month of weather unfavorability to '21 with GPH results finishing down 7% for the
month. We've already seen the preview of the May rounds from our Golf Market Research Center subscribers and it looks like
rounds won't suffer quite as much which leads us to a projection that we'll see a Utilization gain for the month. If you were a
GMRC subscriber you'd already know them as well, hint, hint. Through 5 months the GPH figure improved slightly to -11%
so a very sluggish weather start to the season compared to '21 (and the 10-yr Norm if you're wondering). If you want a look into

The above graphic represents a timeseries by month of Utilization change which we're sure that by now you all know is the resultant
of Played Rounds (demand) divided by Available Rounds (capacity). We compare each month back to the static prior Year End
figure (61%) to determine if we improved or lost utilization in the current month.
April's Utilization " beat " marked a 2nd consecutive month although we won ugly with a smaller rounds decline than weather
deficit. Jim's call for April was +3-5 pts so he successfully bracketed the right answer (it's his artillery officer background in the
Marine Corps, you just have to be close, not " right on " ). For May he's going to go with a 5-10 pt increase in Utilization based on
the GMRC preview he just compiled. Our GMRC subscribers have already seen their May results from Golf Revenue down to
