electric energy, refrigeration, heating, and natural gas

Interaction with external energy sources involves the
purchase of electrical energy, sale of electrical energy,
purchase of thermal energy, purchase of natural gas,
and so on.

There are three operation modes: normal, off-grid,
and recovery, which correspond to the normal, forced offgrid, and failure conditions, respectively. At the same
time, the monitoring system and operation system
exchange information in time to adjust the microgrid
operation mode. In addition, the monitoring system captures historical information to provide feedback for the
planning and construction phases, forming a complete
closed-loop process.

Planning
The first step in the planning process is to establish a complete list
of alternatives, which includes
the options of energy-generation,
energy-storage, and energy-using
equipment. Figure 6 is an alternative equipment scheme used by
TBEA in the microgrid planning
stage, which includes various
devices that may be used in the
microgrid. Any specific microgrid
is a subgraph of Figure 6.
