Predictive cooling methods
use computational models
to predict the temperature
beforehand in such a way
that the cooling efficiency
can be improved.
Improving the thermal properties of coolants contributes
to the overall efficiency of the cooling system. Nanofluids
are evolving as a better alternative to conventional
liquid coolants with improved thermal properties for efficient
cooling. Predictive cooling is another strategy with
the potential to improve the cooling efficiency. In conventional
(reactive) cooling strategies, the cooling system is
activated only when a change in temperature is measured.
Predictive cooling methods use computational
models to predict the temperature beforehand in such a
way that the cooling efficiency can be improved.
