the initial investment, future investment based on equipment lifetime, electrical losses, and maintenance costs. the

Châteauguay-Old and New Together
Châteauguay is an interconnection between Quebec (765 kV)
and new York state. it comprises 2 × 500 MW BtB converter
groups (Cgs) built by BBC/siemens in 1984. the Cgs are
