unique experiences gained from
small community-based microgrid
projects in Chile and mexico, demonstrating how resilient they can
be. This experience, which includes
community engagement, has been
translated into a methodology used
to design much larger microgrid
projects that will make two Chilean
towns resilient to natural disasters.
Finally, the "In my View" column, by
Graham ault, provides an expert view of
what is required for smart grids to become
business as usual. ault, as many of us, is
confident that the smart grid rollout journey will begin soon. however, aligned
with the discussions provided by the authors in this issue, there are several ingredients required to support the rollout. This
is a fantastic column that wraps up this
issue of iEEE Power & Energy magazine.
