HVDC with Line Commutated Converters (LCC)

metallic neutral return
Topologies: 2-level VSC, half- and full-bridge MMC
Models: aggregate arm, average value, controlled voltage source,
independent AC/DC voltage/current source model
Modulation types: phase shift PWM, phase disposition PWM, nearest
level control, w/o third-harmonic injection
Support for all power system calculation functions
(e.g. load flow, dynamic RMS and EMT simulations)
Enables detailed EMT studies for HVDC system assessment, for
example: converter controls coordination, response to AC and DC
faults, sub-synchronous control interactions (SSCI)
