En las últimas décadas, investigadores de varios países han
explorado este enfoque de intercalar la simulación del EMT
fuera de línea o en tiempo real con el TSA para ayudar a
los ingenieros a simular sistemas mucho más grandes al
tiempo que reducen el costo, esfuerzo y tiempo necesarios
para configurar y ejecutar el sistema. Además, el ingeniero
puede analizar los aspectos del comportamiento dinámico
del sistema que posiblemente se pasaron por alto en un estudio puro del EMT o del TSA. El valor de tal simulación ha
sido reconocido por algunas entidades, y dichos estudios han
producido con éxito un resultado significativo para concretar la idea de la cosimulación.

para observar fenómenos como fallas de conmutación, desequilibrios del sistema, algunos tipos de dinámica de carga y
