Conclusiones
Con base en el potencial de la computación periférica y los
resultados de las pruebas experimentales presentadas, se
puede concluir que el concepto propuesto ofrece una respuesta
más rápida a los eventos de la red que las soluciones
centralizadas o basadas en subestaciones, lo que indica que
es posible la coordinación con el control de supervisión y
la adquisición de datos, el sistema de gestión de distribución
y las computadoras de la subestación. La computación
periférica es una nueva tecnología que puede ofrecer beneficios
significativos a la red de distribución de los servicios
públicos. Las principales aplicaciones de interés incluyen la
automatización de la distribución, la gestión general de la
red, el análisis avanzado, el monitoreo y control de FED y la
gestión de activos. La combinación de la tecnología de computación
periférica, los medios y protocolos de comunicación
ubicuos y los análisis avanzados brindarán plataformas
robustas de inteligencia distribuida, que darán soporte a la
próxima generación de automatización distribuida y productos
de gestión de la red.
