El análisis de datos en este
campo puede abarcar una amplia
variedad de técnicas. Los datos de
forma de onda son más útiles si
contienen perturbaciones o cambios
en las condiciones de funcionamiento,
ya que las formas
de onda en estado estacionario
pueden no proporcionar información
nueva importante además
de la que ya está disponible. En
consecuencia, resulta beneficioso
realizar análisis de datos basados
en eventos. Para utilizar esta
estrategia, es necesario abordar
las siguientes tareas habituales
que surgen en el análisis de datos:
detección de eventos (utilizando
técnicas en el dominio temporal,
en el dominio de la frecuencia
o conceptos híbridos de ondículas),
clasificación de eventos
(mediante la extracción de características
de los datos de forma de
onda síncrona, como la extracción
de modos de oscilación transitoria,
impulsos, características gráficas,
número de fases afectadas
en el sistema eléctrico, ángulo
de disparo, magnitud y duración
del evento) e identificación de la
ubicación del evento (utilizando
