VIP tour of the Airfield Control Tower, Radar Room,
and ground Electronics Systems at Naval Air Station
Joint Reserve Base (NASJRB) New Orleans. NASJRB
New Orleans provides operational, logistical, and fiscal
support for 33 joint service tenant commands and aircraft
detachments. It is the primary installation in the region
for disaster rescue/relief efforts in support of all responding
Joint Task Forces and Federal Agencies.

Entergy Grid Modernization Labs

The Entergy Smart Meter lab and farm were built in 2018
to support the Smart meter and Grid modernization effort
for Entergy. They were established to provide more useful
customer function while at the same time strengthening
the resiliency of the grid. The lab's main goal is to help to
proof test the Smart cities and mesh network technology
related devices such as the Smart meter, Access points and
upcoming smart streetlights. The lab is equipped with
state-of-the-art testing equipment and also has a meter
farm to proof test and simulate grid operation.
