Our Neighbors, the Eagles By David Wineberg You could come home to find a nest next door. M ilford is a classic tiny town, one square mile, at the juncture of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. From our home, it's a five-minute walk to the center of town, where Milford's only traffic light hangs. And while there are homes across the street and next door, our property backs right up against Sawkill Creek and the Delaware Water Gap National 34 Recreation Area. My wife Nancy and I enjoy a view that is solid green on two sides, with a creek and a waterfall. And the water is actually clean. I designed a house to fit the environment: no asphalt; no lawn; no exterior paint; radiant floor heating.
