2015 Hunter-Trapper Education Instructor of the Year I T IS with great pleasure that I nominate the team of Terry Frye and Robert Trostle for the Outstanding Hunter-Trapper Education Instructor Award. To be considered an outstanding instructor, an individual should possess notable excellence in conducting the Game Commission's courses. Although there are many instructors who specialize in teaching one area of the HunterTrapper Education curriculum, excelling in multiple areas of instruction is a rare feat. Terry and Bob have mastered all areas of these courses. These two instructors have a combined 64 years of educating new hunters and adding them to the ranks. They have partnered in teaching courses since 1983. Additionally, they have a combined 30 years of experience as Successful Bowhunting instructors. Both instructors have expertly navigated the many changes in the basic Hunter-Trapper Education curriculum. The passion Terry and Bob have for teaching is evident through their devotion, hard work and time they dedicate. The testimony of anyone who has attended a class taught by these two gentlemen surely would reinforce the idea they contain the qualities and dedication it takes to be the outstanding instructors of the year for the Southcentral Region.
