A Tavola is a real
breath of fresh air: it
was one of the best
pizzeria's I've visited in
quite some time. The
brothers who run the
business are dedicated
to quality, and it really
shows.

Local ingredients help
define a city's culinary
identity, but flavor isn't
always perceived the
same way in distant
locations.

We talked to a number
of pizzeria operators
to learn their favorite
new topping. While
mine remains good ol'
fashioned pepperoni,
I was surprised at the
variety our readers
offered.
