2010
Critics wrote that Grace Merriman nearly

"stole the show" as Nerissa in The Secret
Theatre's The Merchant of Venice in Long
Island City in September 2016. Merriman
was also in the ensemble cast of the HMTC's
Assassins in June 2016. Grace is a NYCbased actress and theatre-maker, and is the
Artistic Producing Director of Equal Truth
Productions www.equaltruthproductions.
com. She also volunteers as a part-time
Assistant Managing Director with Zara Aina

at-risk children in Madagascar expand their
capacity for achievement through theatrical
performance and storytelling.

2011
After graduating from Dartmouth and moving

to San Francisco where she worked as Content
and Social Media Manager for Hint, Inc., Avery
McCann is back in New York City where she
is part of the Page Program at CBS. Alice
Taranto recently published Unbound: A Reader
(Bookshelf, p. 41). She is a NY-based multidisciplinary graphic artist whose practice includes
publishing, neon lighting, collaboration and experience design. A BFA graduate of the Rhode
Island School of Design (RISD) she frequently
works with her twin sister and curator Daphne
Taranto, a graduate of the Maryland Institute
of Contemporary Art (MICA), and is part of
the collective Henry Blank. Alice was featured
in an interview about her book by Atlas Art

Tucker Murray (Tucker Caploe) performed
at The Cutting Room in December 2016. The
concert was one of numerous appearances
around NYC for the singer-songwriter who
has been called an artist "to keep an eye out

Katie Birenboim starred in the Berkshire
Theatre Group's production of Fiorello! in
NYC in early fall to rave reviews http://www.

Yale University in 2016 and is now enjoying and
working hard at the University of Pennsylvania
School of Veterinary Medicine.

Drew McCann will graduate from Cornell

University in 2017 with a major in animal sciences and minors in business and education.

2016
ChiChi Ikwuazom was named Ivy League

co-Rookie of the Year in women's volleyball in
November 2016, after being named Ivy League
Rookie of the Week in October. Ikwuazom was
also named First Team All-Ivy at the end of her
first season at Columbia University. ChiChi

led the Ivy League in hitting percentage and
total blocks and was Columbia's first-ever Ivy
League Rookie of the Year in volleyball, and
the program's only first year to be named First
Team All-Ivy as she helped Columbia finish

Kenneth Shinozuka, founder and CEO of
Safewander (www.safewander.com) and a
freshman at Harvard University, was named
one of 19 "MedTech Rising Stars" in July 2016
by Medical Device and Diagnostic Industry.

shakers" from among numerous nominations
from readers and editors. Kenneth was also
featured in the September-October 2016 issue
of AARP's magazine as an "Age Disruptor."
Among AARP's "25 People Who Bust Age-Old
Myths" Shinozuka joined the list that included
playwright/actor Lin Manuel Miranda and
swimmer Diana Nyad. "Motivated by his late
grandfather's suffering from Alzheimer's,
Kenneth, at 15, developed a small wearable
sensor that sends a smartphone alert when
its wearer gets out of bed. He tested the first
prototype with his grandfather. It worked!
Kenneth feels that his age has never limited
him. That's a confident teenage disruptor!"
wrote AARP's Christopher Lane. Hannah
Sirulnick is a freshman at the Roski School of
Art and Design at the University of Southern
California. She writes that she has joined
Kappa Gamma Kappa sorority and "loves
USC and my new friends, and miss all my HM
friends and teachers." Spencer Slagowitz is
a freshman at the Walsh School of Foreign
Service at Georgetown University. He writes:
