Virginia-Orthopaedic fellowship trained Foot & Ankle Surgeon with Carilion Clinic
Carilion Clinic, headquartered in Roanoke, Virginia, is searching for a second Orthopaedic
fellowship trained Foot & Ankle Surgeon to join the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Completion of an ACGME Orthopaedic residency is required.
Responsibilities include care of the complete range of foot and ankle problems with very infrequent
general orthopaedic and trauma call with full support of an orthopaedic trauma service. Surgeries are
performed at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital a 703-bed academic/tertiary care center with a
Level 1 Trauma program.
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Carilion Clinic consists of 40+ physicians representing all
subspecialties of Orthopaedics. Position includes an academic appointment at Virginia Tech Carilion
School of Medicine. Research with the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute in Roanoke is encouraged
and supported.
