Rita Clarke
Keynote

As a young child growing up in
Philadelphia PA, Rita developed a
fascination with different cultures
and a love for the spoken word. After working several years in the
school districts of Philadelphia and
Lititz, PA, she combined her passion
for history, culture, teaching and entertaining and turned it into a career
in storytelling. Rita has given workshops in the art of storytelling and communication through storytelling. She has shared stories at festivals, schools, churches, camps, universities, community events, corporations and private functions. Formerly the creative coordinator for "Living the Experience" a spiritual
Underground Railroad re-enactment presentation in Lancaster, PA,
Rita has also branched out into theater, acting in local productions,
with the Ephrata Performing Arts Center, Theater for Transformation,
Creative Works of Lancaster, Denman-Turner Entertainment Group,
and Theater of the Seventh Sister. Rita has participated in the Lancaster Story Slam, where she was honored to be the winner of the Grand
Slam, where she earned the title of Best Storyteller in Lancaster 2020.
Rita is blessed to have the opportunity to share her love for story with
all who will listen.
