Community Support
Boeing supports building better and more equitable communities through its investment in employee
engagement programs and advocacy efforts.
By the numbers, Boeing has funded or sponsored:
* 267 grants targeting STEM and workforce development programs in 2020.
* Over 13,000 active partnerships with community-based organizations.
* Over 5 million students reached through FUTURE U., Boeing's hands-on STEM learning program.
* $1 billion so far toward Boeing employees' college tuition, books and fees.
* $2 billion in community investments over the past 10 years.
Even in challenging times, Boeing remains committed to supporting communities and inspiring the next
generation of aerospace professionals.
As Boeing shared in its 2021 Sustainability Report, the company is committed to supporting students of all
backgrounds in achieving their full potential. The company is engaged in partnerships with community

FUTURE U. and Newton Rooms
Through Boeing's signature program FUTURE U. and support of organizations such as FIRST Robotics, Newton
Rooms and Soaring with Your Dream, the company has helped introduce millions of students to the wonders
of aerospace and technology. In May 2021, Boeing committed $50 million to the Virginia Tech Innovation
Campus, becoming the first foundational partner in a transformative investment that will help diversify the global
technology industry and bolster the Washington, D.C., region as a global innovation hub.
A multiyear investment from Boeing will establish Newton Rooms in Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, France,
Italy, Spain, Belgium, Turkey and the United Kingdom. Newton Rooms offer high-quality STEM learning through
real-world aviation concepts such as space, biofuels, and advanced materials and manufacturing.
