Property (IP) rights to SPRAYOMER®
Technology reusable vacuum bags for the advanced
composite industry.

Nordson Electronics Solutions, a global leader in electronics
manufacturing technologies, introduces a system-solution for dispensing
single-component (1K) thermal interface materials by integrating the
ASYMTEK Helios® SD-960 Series fluid dispensing platform with the new
FS-EP1 Fluid Supply/Feeding System One-Gallon Pail Pump.
Single-component thermal interface materials (TIMs), often used
as gap fillers in electronics manufacturing, are highly viscous and
abrasive, making them difficult to feed from the original packaging to
the dispense valve. Facility air pressure and chunk pumps are commonly
used to transfer these thick materials. However, these are not long-term
solutions because the air pressure is often insufficient or the pump wears
out faster, leading to premature failure. The new FS-EP1 pail pump
pushes material to the dispense valve using a closed-hydraulic system.
Low shearing of the material ensures that highly conductive thermal gap
fillers do not separate, and material properties remain unaffected. There
are no moving parts in contact with the gap filler, and no moving parts
outside the pump enclosure, not even in the fluid line.

Aerovac was acquired by Composites One in 2021 when it completed
its purchase of the Process Materials business from Solvay Composites
Materials Global Business. The acquisition was a unique opportunity for
the company to add international manufacturing and sales capabilities
in specialized materials used in a variety of vacuum-assisted composite
manufacturing processes.
The Aerovac line is comprised of an extensive array of vacuum bagging
materials, including bagging films, breather fabrics, release films, peel plies,
sealant tapes, valves, and hoses. Aerovac also supplies 2D and 3D tailored
process materials kits and hard and soft tooling.

desirable features such as vacuum bags with integral
fluid transfer conduits and seals for resin

made from any elastomer including silicones,
urethanes, and natural & synthetic latexes. SPRAYOMER®
Elastomer RVB's perform better and
provide more useful life with epoxy resin systems
than sprayable silicone RVB's and are up to 80%
lighter in weight and can be made seamless near
net shape for any size mold tools. SPRAYOMER®
NR elastomers provide cleaner use RVB's without
the potential cross contamination and tracing
