Lindsey Wilson College
Lindsey Wilson College has much to report! We
had record enrollment in the fall of 2,677 students
with a record breaking 1,099 students in residential
housing. Our staff has changed quite a bit. Jordan
Willis has moved up to Director of Residence Life,
while remaining Men’s Area Coordinator. Hannah
Peck joined our team in August as Women’s Area
Coordinator. Jennifer Parrigin has taken over as
Resident Director of Phillips Hall and Khyati Patel
has assumed the role of Resident Director in
McCandless Hall. Justin Cason is currently Resident
Director of Smith Hall with Adam Capps filling in the
position of apartment manager of Trabue Campus
Apartments. Last but not least Viktoria Krell joins our
staff this semester as House Manager for the Huff
House.
Sullivan University
Sullivan University has had a phenomenal year!
The 2012-2013 academic year marked the
University’s 50th year of existence. The University
boasts humble beginnings as a business school in
1962 to proudly celebrating its place as the largest
private institution in the state of Kentucky as it holds
full SACS accreditation for associate, bachelor,
master, and doctoral degrees in 2012. Sullivan
University got into the on-campus housing business
just three years ago and has taken the idea of oncampus living to the next level. The Housing and
Residence Life Department on campus has gone
through several changes this year and will continue to
be restructured as we look to strengthen our program
even more. Recent changes include Lauren Kelly
being named Housing and Operations Coordinator in
January of this year and we will have two anticipated
positions for the department and the coordinator level
in time for SEAHO in Atlanta!

KARH Conference 2013
On Friday, February 1st, almost 100 delegates and
advisers arrived at the Berea College campus to “take
a gamble on leadership” at KARH 2013. Friday
night’s opening ceremonies featured Berea’s Assistant
Vice President Gus Gerassimides as the keynote
speaker, after which the nine delegations entertained
with their roll call skits and performances. Following
the ceremonies, the night continued with casino
festivities that included a comedian and magician.
Saturday, while some attended the Boardroom,
others had eighteen educational programs to choose
from, facilitated by presenters from five different
institutions. All of the programs offered delegates the
opportunity to learn from the broad network of
expertise that we’d gathered from across the state.
Then, that night, we celebrated our state’s
accomplishments at the international banquet that
included various recognitions by the KARH State
Board and the awarding of Best Overall Delegation to
the Saints of Thomas More College. Thanks to all who
took a gamble on leadership with us!
