During this semester many of us will be working with student staff selection, professional staff selection, housing assignments not to mention the regular resident, facilities and staff tasks. We encourage you to take a breath for you. Stop for a second during your very busy days, weeks and months to refocus your energy and vision and remember why you do what you do. Explore the SEAHO Website, have coffee with a colleague or student, walk around your campus, go to a residence life program or take advantage of the SEAHO Annual Conference in Atlanta at the end of the month. As we move into this new year, we would like to wish safe journeys to Nicole Lenez, Managing Editor of the Report, who is traveling around the world as a part of the Semester at Sea program. However, we have great editors to create future editions of the report for the membership. We are excited to share with you the SEAHO Conference Edition of the Report. We look forward to seeing you in Atlanta. Kayla Hamilton Member at Large This year, in an effort to reduce printing our carbon footprint, environmental impact, and to keep cost down, SEAHO will be publishing the conference schedule on the “Guidebook” app which is available on most platforms including Android, iPhone/iPad, and Kindle fire amongst others. This app has a ton of great features for our conference delegates to take advantage of. Please see any of the conference staff if you would like to know more about this great tool.
