Conclusion
The significant role student-faculty interactions play in increasing student satisfaction and retention is readily apparent. As Student Affairs practitioners, it is important that we recognize the importance of connecting students
to faculty, whether in formal or informal settings. We should strive to make these interactions happen regularly,
so that they are the rule, not the exception to it. If we are able to successfully create an environment in which
faculty-student interactions are valued and mutually sought out by both parties, satisfaction with institutional
experiences - across the board - will almost indefinitely strengthen.
