Wake Forest University
Wake Forest University is happy to announce the
addition of several new staff members in the midst
of a Residence Life area reorganization. We have
transitioned away from Residence Life Coordinators
to Community Directors, similar to the RLC position
our CDs are full-time, live-in professional staff who
will also work in community.
Ashley Walker is joining us from Nova
Southeastern University. Carson Flynn is joining
us from Texas Christian University. Courtney Rufh
is joining us from Winston-Salem State University.
Raniesha Wassman is joining us from Indiana
University. Requel Avena is joining us from Rowan
College
Additionally, we are pleased to welcome two new
Assistant Directors.
Briana Cresswell is joining us from Louisiana State
University, she is the AD for Residential Learning,
Leadership and Programming. Tion Taylor, is joining
us from the Florida State University, he is the AD for
Residential Conduct. Kelsey Hansen, is joining us
from the University of Alabama, she is the AD for
Academic Initiatives and Engagement.
In other staffing news, Anna Stejc, joined us in
April most recently from High Point University, Anna

is the Coordinator for Assignments and Off-Campus
Housing. This summer, Wake is fortunate to host
two ACUHO-I Summer Interns. Elayna Coleman,
has joined us from Missouri State University and is
working with our Residence Life team. Allison Tupaj,
joined us from Springfield College and is working
with our Housing team.
Finally, Dr. Matthew Clifford has been named the
Assistant Vice President of Campus Life and Dean of
Residence Life and Housing. Matt joined Wake Forest
in 2010 and has worked as the Director of Residence
Life and the Associate Dean of Students for Student
Conduct.

Work on our campus continues this summer! Our office is
working closely with our partners in Facilities and Campus
Services on the following projects: Second phase of Taylor
and Efird Halls with a focus on exterior building and courtyard
updates. The second half of our North Campus Apartment
buildings are getting their updates this summer, with extensive
interior work and new windows throughout.

Updates and safety improvements are underway at
the newly acquired Deacon Place apartments.
Student Organization Improvements - new BSA
lounge, relocation of OLAS, complete interior
replacement for Kappa Alpha Theta
