STATE UPDATES Alabama Joseph Garmany Jacksonville State University Jacksonville State experienced record-high enrollment for fall 2021, with our largest freshman class ever! We have a new residence hall/dining hall project in development that is set to open in 2023, and are currently searching for the new Senior Director of Housing Operations and Residence Life. We welcomed our newest Residence Life Coordinators: Claudia Hess Lauren Moore Tyrone Davis Madison Peaden University of West Alabama Rodney Williams We also welcomed new Assistant Residence Life Coordinators: Scout Spears After more than 36 years of service to the University of West Alabama, Luther Gremmels retired on October 1, 2021. Luther started at UWA (then known at Livingston University) on April 15, 1985, as the Director of Union Programs. He also took on the Hall Director role the following year, and was then named the Director of Housing and Residential Life in 1987.
