STATE UPDATES
Florida
Stetson University
Norm Cole joined Stetson
on August 9, 2021, as the
Associate Director of Housing
Operations and Administrative
Services.
graduate school, Annika served as a Graduate Intern
for New Student Orientation, Student Leadership and
Campus Initiatives, and the Haven Project. She was
also a Graduate Assistant for Training and Student
Leadership, a Research Assistant, and the Graduate
Residence Director for the Office of Housing.
Jackson Dennis joined Stetson on July 6, 2021, as a
Graduate Assistant for Residential Education.
Louisiana
Louisiana State University
LSU is excited to have welcomed three new staff
members in the last few months:
* Peter Trentacoste is our new Executive Director of
Residential Life.
* Eslam Abuhmad is our new Residence
Coordinator for the Horseshoe communities.
* Taylor Glover is our new Graduate Residence
Coordinator for the North and Broussard
communities.
North Carolina
Eastern Carolina University
Kaitlyn Gumann is a new Residence Hall Coordinator
and will be working in Legacy Hall. She completed
her Master's in Higher and Postsecondary Education
at Arizona State University, and received her
undergraduate degree in Communications with a
minor in Political Science from Christopher Newport
University. As an undergraduate student, Kaitlyn
worked as a Senior Resident Assistant and Student
Director of Orientation. During her time in graduate
school, Kaitlyn served as an Assistant Community
Director and Management Intern.
Annika Philippe-Auguste is a new Residence Hall
Coordinator and will be working in Jones Hall. She
completed her Master's in Student Affairs in Higher
Education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania,
and received her undergraduate degree in Health
Education and Promotion with a Community Health
Concentration from Towson University. As an
undergraduate student, Annika worked as an RA
and Health Education Intern. During her time in

Virginia Commonwealth University
VCU Residential Life & Housing recently added several
staff members at various career roles in the RLH
department. Please join us in welcoming them to VCU
and the SEAHO regional family!
* Lacey Willis serves as a Desk Coordinator with the
Desk Operations team. Lacey is a graduate of VCU
and was a former student Desk Assistant.
* Jahmar Wyant serves as a Logistics Coordinator.
Jahmar is a graduate of VCU and was a former
RLH Facilities Assistant.
* Rowan O'Hara is a Graduate Assistant for
Conduct. Rowan received a B.S. in Bioinformatics
with a concentration in biological/genomic
sciences and Psychology from VCU. Rowan
will be pursuing an accelerated Master's in
Bioinformatics.
* Aziah Bell is a Graduate Assistant for Leadership
Programs. Aziah received a B.S. in Mass
Communication with a concentration in creative
and strategic advertising from VCU. Aziah will be
pursuing a Master's of Sport Leadership.
* Nana Ferdnance is a Graduate Assistant for
Multicultural Affairs. Nana received a B.S. in
Art History and Environmental Studies from
Randolph-Macon College. Nana will be pursuing a
Master's in Art History and Museum Studies.
Josh Larson is a new Residence Hall Coordinator and
will be working in Fletcher Hall. He completed his
Master's in Student Personnel in Higher Education
at the University of Florida, and received his
undergraduate degree in Secondary Mathematics
Education from the University of Northern Iowa. As
an undergraduate student Josh was an Undergraduate
Intern for Fraternity and Sorority Life, and the
President of RHA. During his time in graduate school,
Josh served as a Graduate Intern for Student Conduct
and Conflict Resolution, a Graduate Assistant for the
office of Hispanic and Latinx Affairs and was the
Graduate Community Coordinator for Housing and
Residence Life.
Dana Mattern is the new Associate Director for
Conduct. Dana served in this role as the Interim
Associate Director for Conduct during the last year.
