STUDENT AFFAIRS AROUND THE REGION The College of William & Mary The William & Mary Residence Hall Association (RHA) attended the SAACURH Regional Business Conference earlier this spring. At the conference, W&M RHA was recognized with the Building Block Award. The Building Block Award recognizes a chapter which displays tremendous effort and improvement from the previous academic year to the current. Taylor Locks, Assistant Director for Residence Life, serves as the RHA advisor. She was recognized with the Evelyn A. Wallington Advisor of the Year Award for her work with RHA over the past year. William & Mary Residence Life partnered with the Cohen Career Center to design a virtual, asynchronous interview process. The innovative process provided candidates the opportunity to complete their interview anytime, anywhere, over video conferencing software Big Interview. Candidates could complete multiple interviews for multiple positions and be evaluated by multiple reviewers. Shylan Scott was appointed to William & Mary's ombuds team earlier this year. Her appointment started on February 15. Sydney Bergstrom joined our team as the Area Director for Fraternity and Sorority Housing. 40
