Some of the communities will be housed on the same
floor if they have similar interests.
And finally, we are currently searching for an Assistant
Director for Residential Life. This is a reimagined
position having previously been responsible for the
Villas Community and directly supervising the RA staff
in that community. Now the ADRL will provide the
supervision and development leadership for the three
graduate staff while coordinating the residential life
side of our operation.

Virginia Commonwealth University
Recent Staff Departures
* Robin Martin, Administrative Assistant, celebrated
retirement in January 2022 after 19 years of service
to VCU.
* Demarcus Merritt, Sr., Assistant Director of
Residential Life, left the position to pursue a career
at the University of Virginia. We are excited that
he is staying in the state and region, so we can
continue to collaborate with him.
* Elizabeth Soady, Hall Director, transitioned to The
University of Richmond as the Assistant Director of
Career Services.
* Maitlan Sullivan, Conference Services Coordinator,
left to pursue a career at the University of Dayton
as the Assistant Director of Kennedy Union Evening
Operation.
* Laura Jo Cramer, Assistant Director of Selection
and Development, left the role to join the eRezLife
team fulltime as the client success manager. We
look forward to working with her as a corporate
partner and seeing her around SEAHO!
Staff Transitions
* Matthew Critchley, Assistant Director of
Assignments, moved into this new role after serving
as an Assistant Hall Director at VCU.
* Samantha Hill, Assistant Director of Facilities,
transitioned into this new role after serving as an
Asssistant Director of Residential Life for four years.
* Kendra Jenkins, Logistics Coordinator, joined RLH
having worked previously for VCU Parking.
* Jhanys Gardner, Logistics Coordinator, joined RLH
having worked previously as student work for VCU
LEAD.
* Jahmar Wyant, Logistics Coordinator,r joined RLH
professional staff having previously worked as a
student work for RLH Facilities.
* Nicole Green, Department Office Coordinator,
joined RLH having worked previously for VCU
Parking.
* Samantha Hill, Assistant Director of Facilities,
transitioned into this new role after serving as an
Assistant Director of Residential Life for four years
at VCU.
New Staff Arrivals
We are excited to announce the arrival of our newest
RAMily this past year:
* Kimberly Bradley, Assistant Director of Residential
Life, comes to us from Georgia Southern University.
* Theresa Franklin, Assistant Director of Residential
Life, joined us from The University of Kansas.
* Ny'Asia Shaw, Hall Director, brings previous
experiences from their roles as Assistant Residence
Coordinator with Florida State University.
* Sarah Tokar, Hall Director, brings previously
earned experiences in residential life from roles as
a Graduate Hall Director with Bowling Green State
University.
* Mariah Duncan, Hall Director, most recently served
as a Hall Director with Tennessee Technological
University.
* Kate Lyn Broom, Hall Director, brings previous
experience in residential life from her role as
Graduate Community Coordinator at the University
of Florida.
