* Align the SEAHO brand across the association. Through various task forces, committee
recommendations, and acknowledged best practices by not-for-profit associations; SEAHO must
develop brand standards across integrated communications and technology. Consistency across
communication and technology is critical to meet SEAHO's mission and vision. Ultimately, our
members benefit!
* Improve the accessibility of our communications and technology. SEAHO must improve
communications and technology accessibility for our members. Including accessibility in our regular
communications and technology audit and adopting universal design principles will enhance our
members' engagement.
I am committed to this association and these goals. I have built a foundation to achieve these goals, including
a regular audit, making decisions to maximize the use of our association's resources, and initiating the steps to
begin a complete website review and redesign. Wherever I am positioned within the association, I will support
this work.
My current work in the Director of Communications position and proposed goals connect directly to my
introduction to SEAHO. At my first annual conference, I attended the new Member Services Committee to get
involved. This involvement led to learning about SEAHO and telling the association's story through facilitating
several Newcomers and Graduate Student welcome sessions and supporting the committee's transition into
the current Marketing and Organizational Promotions Committee. As you can see, telling the association's
story and connecting people with the mission and vision is related directly to my SEAHO involvement. My

Outside of this position and my professional association experiences, my career is based within the SEAHO
region with service to Clemson University, Savannah College of Art and Design, the University of North
Carolina at Greensboro, and NC State University, where I serve as an Associate Director for Residential
Learning.
SEAHO is my professional home. It would be an honor to continue serving as the Director of Communications.
I will continue to build on the foundation I established, finish the unfinished business, and strive to achieve
my outlined goals. Most importantly, I welcome the opportunity to continue giving back to this association
and the people in this region who support my personal and professional development. Thank you for your
